అథ చతుర్దశస్సర్గః

శ్లో|| స ముహూర్తమివ ధ్యాత్వా మనసా చాధిగమ్యతామ్|
అవప్లుతో మహాతేజాః ప్రాకారం తస్య వేశ్మనః||1||శ్లో

స|| సః మహాతేజః ముహూర్తమివ ధ్యాత్వా మనసా తాం (సీతాం) అధిగమ్య తస్య వేశ్మనః ప్రాకారం అవప్లుతః||

That mighty Hanuman lost in thought, reached Sita in his mind for a moment, (as he) jumped down onto the boundary wall of the palace.

శ్లో|| సతు సంహృష్ట సర్వాఙ్గః ప్రాకారస్థో మహాకపిః|
పుష్పితాగ్రాన్ వసన్తాదౌ దదర్శ వివిధాన్ ద్రుమాన్||2||
సాలాన్ అశోకాన్ భవ్యాంశ్చ చంపకాంశ్చ సుపుష్పితాన్|
ఉద్దాలకాన్ నాగవృక్షాం శ్చూతాన్కపిముఖానపి||3||

స||ప్రాకారస్థః సః మహాకపిః సర్వాఙ్గః సంహృష్టః వివిధాన్ వసంతాదౌ ద్రుమాన్ పుష్పితాగ్రాన్ దదర్శ|| సాలాన్ అశోకాన్ భవ్యాంశ్చ సుపుష్పితాన్ చంపకాశ్చ ఉద్దాలకాన్ నాగవృక్షాన్ కపిముఖాన్ ( కపిముఖవర్ణ) చూతాన్ అపి (దదర్శ)||

Hanuman , with delight permeating all parts of his body , standing on the wall saw blossoms on top of several trees as in spring time. He saw variety of trees Salas Ashokas Bhavyaas, blossoming Champakas, Uddalakas Naaga trees and Mangoes with the color of the monkeys snout!

శ్లో|| అథామ్రవణ సంచ్చన్నాం లతాశతసమావృతామ్|
జ్యాముక్త ఇవ నారాచః పుప్లువే వృక్షవాటికామ్||4||

స|| అథ (సః హనుమాన్) ఆమ్రవణ సంచ్ఛన్నామ్ లతాశత సమాకులామ్ వృక్షవాటికాం జ్యాముక్తః నారాచః ఇవ పుప్లువే||

Then Hanuman penetrated the clusters of trees filled with mango groves and over grown with hundreds of creepers like an arrow released from a bow !

శ్లో|| సప్రవిశ్య విచిత్రాం తాం విహగైరభినాదితామ్|
రాజతైః కాఞ్చనైశ్చైవ పాదపైః సర్వతో వృతామ్||5||
విహగైర్మృగసంఘైశ్చ విచిత్రాం చిత్రకాననామ్|
ఉదితాదిత్య సంకాశాం దదర్శ హనుమాన్ కపిః||6||
వృతాం నానావిధైర్వృక్షైః పుష్పోపగఫలోపగైః|
కోకిలైః భృఙ్గరాజైశ్చ మత్తైర్నిత్య నిషేవితామ్||7||
ప్రహృష్ట మనుజే కాలే మృగపక్షి సమాకులే|
మత్తబర్హిణసంఘుష్టాం నానాద్విజాగణాయుతామ్||8||

స|| సః తాం (అశోకవనికాం ) ప్రవిశ్య విచిత్రాం విహగైః అభినాదితాం సర్వతః రాజతైః కాంచనశ్చైవ పాదపైః ఆవృతాం (అశోకవనికాం దదర్శ)||(తత్ర) హనుమాన్ కపిః విచిత్రాం విహగైః మృగ సంఘైశ్చ ఉదితాదిత్య సంకాశం (ఇవ) చిత్రకాననాం దదర్శ|| పుష్పోపగఫలోపగైః నానావిధైః వృక్షైః వృతాం మత్తైః కోకిలైః భృంగరాజైః చ నిత్య సేవితాం (అశోకవనికాం దదర్శ)||ప్రహృష్ట మనుజేకాలే మృఃగ పక్షి సమాకులే మత్తబర్హిణసంఘుష్టామ్ నానాద్విజ గణాయుతాం (తాం అశోకవనికాం దదర్శ)||

That Hanuman having entered saw Ashoka grove surrounded by silvery and golden trees made wonderful by the sounds of birds. The Vanara , Hanuman, saw the Ashoka grove , shining like the rising Sun, with wonderful birds , groups of deer, and wonderful thickets . Inhabited by intoxicated cuckoos and ever delighting bees, the trees were having abundant flowers and fruits . Ashoka grove was pleasing to the people , with herds of animals and flocks of birds , flocks of proud peacocks, flocks of different birds.

శ్లో|| మార్గమాణో వరారోహాం రాజపుత్రీం అనిందితామ్|
సుఖప్రసుప్తాన్ విహగాన్ బోధయామాస వానరః||9||
ఉత్పతత్భిః ద్విజగణైః పక్షైః సాలాః సమాహతాః|
అనేక వర్ణా వివిధా ముముచుః పుష్పవృష్టయః||10||
పుష్పావకీర్ణః శుశుభే హనుమాన్ మారుతాత్మజః|
అశోకవనికా మధ్యే యథా పుష్పమయో గిరిః||11||

స|| వానరః వరారోహాం అనిందితాం రాజపుత్రీం మార్గమాణః సుఖప్రసుప్తాన్ విహగాన్ బోధయామాస||ఉత్పతత్భిః ద్విజగణైః పక్షైః సమాహతః సాలాః అనేకవర్ణః వివిధాః పుశ్పవృష్టయః ముముచుః||అశోకవనికా మధ్యే పుష్పావకీర్ణః హనుమాన్ మారుతాత్మజః పుష్పమయో గిరిః యథా శుశుభే||

The Vanara moving in search of Sita, the blameless princess born in a noble family, awakened the birds which were sleeping happily. Hit by the wings of the flying flocks of birds the trees showered flowers of many different colors. Hanuman the son of wind god covered with variety of flowers shone like a mountain covered with flowers in the middle of the Ashoka grove.

శ్లో|| దిశః సర్వాః ప్రధావంతం వృక్ష షణ్డగతం కపిమ్|
దృష్ట్వా సర్వాణి భూతాని వసన్త ఇతి మేనిరే||12||
వృక్షేభ్యః పతితై పుష్పైః అవకీర్ణా పృథగ్విధైః|
రరాజ వసుధా తత్ర ప్రమదేవ విభూషితా||13||
తరస్వినా తే తరవస్తరసాభి ప్రకమ్పితాః|
కుసుమాని విచిత్రాణి ససృజుః కపినా తదా||14||

స|| వృక్ష షణ్డగతం దిశః సర్వాః ప్రధావంతం కపిం దృష్ట్వా సర్వాణి భూతాని వసంత ఇతి మేనిరే|| తత్ర వృక్షేభ్యః పతితైః పుష్పైః అవకీర్ణా పృధ్వీ విభూషితా ప్రమద ఏవ రరాజ|| తదా తరస్వినా కపినా తరసా అభిప్రకమ్పితాః తే తరవః విచిత్రాణి పుష్ఫాణి ససృజుః ||

Seeing Hanuman running around covered with variety of flowers shed by the trees , all the living being thought he was spring personified. The earth covered with flowers fallen from the trees shown like a fully bedecked young woman. Shaken by the great speed of Hanuman, the trees shed variety of colorful flowers.

శ్లో|| నిర్దూత పత్రశిఖరాః శీర్ణపుష్పఫలాద్రుమాః|
నిక్షిప్త వస్త్రాభరణా ధూర్త ఇవ పరాజితః||15||
హనుమతా వేగవతా కమ్పితాస్తే నగోత్తమాః|
పుష్పపర్ణ ఫలాన్యాసు ముముచుః పుష్పశాలినః||16||

స|| నిర్ధూత పత్రశిఖరాః శీర్ణపుష్పఫలాః ద్రుమాః పరాజితాః నిక్షిప్త వస్త్రాభరణాః ధూర్తా ఇవ (దదర్శ)|| వేగవతా హనుమతా కంపితాః పుష్పశాలినః తే నగోత్తమాః పుష్పవర్ణ ఫలాన్యాసుః ముముచుః||

The trees with top branches shorn of flowers and fruits appeared like gamblers who lost their clothes and ornaments ( in gambling). Shaken by the speedy Hanuman the best of trees with flowers fruits shed flowers and fruits.

శ్లో|| విహఙ్గ సంఘైర్హీనాస్తే స్కన్ధమాత్రాశ్రయా ద్రుమాః|
బభూవురగమాః సర్వే మారుతేనేవ నిర్థుతాః||17||

స|| సర్వే తే ద్రుమాః మారుతేన వినిర్ఘుతాః అగమాః ఇవ విహంగసంఘైః విహీనాః స్కన్ధమాత్రాశ్రయాః బభూవ||

All those trees deserted by the flocks of birds and looking bare, appeared like trees resting on their trunks unable to move.

శ్లో|| నిర్ధూత కేశీ యువతి ర్యథా మృదిత వర్ణికా|
నిష్పీతశుభ దన్తోష్ఠీ నఖైర్దన్తైశ్చ విక్షతా ||18||
తథా లాంఙ్గూలహస్తైశ్చ చరణాభ్యాంచ మర్దితా|
బభూవాశోకవనికా ప్రభగ్నవరపాదపా||19||

స|| లాంగూల హస్తైశ్చ చరణాభ్యాం చ మర్దితా అశోకవనికా ప్రభగ్న వర పాదపాః నిర్ధూత కేశీ మృదిత వర్ణకా నిష్పీత శుభ దంతోష్టీ నఖదంతైశ్ఛ విక్షతా యువతీ యథా బభూవ||

The Ashoka grove crushed by Hanuman's tail and hands appeared like a woman with disheveled hair, with her vermillion mark effaced , with bright teeth and lips looking faded being repeatedly kissed and wounded with nails and teeth.

శ్లో|| మహాలతానాం దామాని వ్యథమత్తరసా కపిః|
యథా ప్రావృషి విన్ధ్యస్య మేఘజాలాని మారుతః||20||

స|| కపిః మహాలతానాం దామాని తరసా మారుతః ప్రావృషీ నిబంధస్య మేఘజాలాని యథా వ్యథమత్||

The Vanara shook the huge clusters of creepers with tremendous winds, like the winds scattering the clusters of clouds on the Vindhyas.

శ్లో|| స తత్ర మణి భూమీశ్చ రాజతీశ్చ మనోరమాః|
తథాకాఞ్చన భూమీశ్చ దదర్శ విచరన్ కపిః|| 21||

స||తత్ర విచరన్ సః కపిః మణిభూమిశ్చ రాజతీశ్చ తథా మనోరమాః కాంచనభూమిశ్చ దదర్శ||

Moving about the grove, the Vanara saw beautiful floors paved with gems , gold and silver.

శ్లో|| వాపీశ్చ వివిధాకారాః పూర్ణాః పరమవారిణా|
మహార్హైః మణిసోపానైః ఉపపన్నాస్తతస్తతః||22||
ముక్తాప్రవాళసికతాః స్పాటికాన్తర కుట్టిమాః |
కాఞ్చనైస్తరుభిశ్చిత్రైః తీరజైరుపశోభితాః||23||
పుల్లపద్మోత్పలవనాః చక్రవాకోపకూజితాః|
నత్యూహరుత సంఘూష్టా హంససారసనాదితాః||24||
దీర్ఘాభిర్ద్రుమయుక్తాభిః సరిద్భిశ్చ సమంతతః|
అమృతోపమ తోయాభిః శివాభిరుపసంస్కృతాః||25|
లతాశతైరవతతాః సన్తాన కుసుమావృతాః|
నానాగుల్మావృతఘనాః కరవీర కృతాన్తరాః||26||

sa|| పరమవారిణా పూర్ణాః తతః తతః మహార్హైః మణిసోపానైః ఉపపన్నాః వాపీశ్చ (దదర్శ)|| ముక్తప్రవాళసికతాః స్ఫాటికాంతరకుట్టిమాః కాంచనైః చిత్రైః తరుభిః తీరజైః ఉపశోభితా (వాపీశ్చ దదర్శ) ||పుల్లపద్మోత్పల వనాః చక్రవాకోపకూజితాః నత్యూహరతసంఘుష్టాః హంస సారనినాదితాః (వాపీశ్చ దదర్శ)|| దీర్ఘాభిః ద్రుమయుక్తాభిః అమృతోపమ తోయభిః శివాభిః సరద్భిః సమంతతః ఉపసంస్కృతాః ( వాపీశ్చ దదర్శ)||లతా శతైః అవతతాః సంతానకుశుమావృతాః నానా గుల్మ ఆవృత ఘనాః కరవీర కృతాంతరాః వాపీశ్చ దదర్శ||

Here and there he saw fully filled tanks with water, also having steps studded with gems. The tanks were having beds of sands with wonderful golden trees grown on the banks, as also platforms paved with bright crystals, corals and pearls . The tanks were having beds of lotuses in full bloom, with flocks of Natyuha birds. it was noisy with sounds of Hamsas and Saras , as well as with sounds of Chakravakas. The tanks were endowed with tall trees, nectar like water , with auspicious streamlets all over decorated as it were. The tanks were spread with hundreds of creepers, scattered with Ashoka blossoms, with several thick bushes, and with lilies in bloom here and there.

శ్లో|| తతోఽమ్బుధర సంకాశం ప్రవృద్ధ శిఖరం గిరిమ్|
విచిత్రకూటం కూటైశ్చ సర్వతః పరివారితమ్||27||
శిలాగృహైరవతతం నానావృక్షైః సమావృతమ్|
దదర్శ హరిశార్దూలో రమ్యం జగతి పర్వతమ్||28||

స|| తతః హరిశార్దూలః జగతి రమ్యం పర్వతం అంబుధరసంకాశం ప్రవృద్ధ శిఖరం విచిత్ర కూటం సర్వతః కూటైః పరివారితం శిలాగృహైః అవతతమ్ నానావృక్షైః సమావృతం గిరిం దదర్శ||

Then the tiger among Vanaras saw a delightful mountain resembling a rain cloud with tall peaks. It had wonderful peaks spread all over. It had caves , and is full of variety of trees. .

శ్లో|| దదర్శ చ నగాత్తస్మాన్ నదీం నిపతితాం కపిః|
అఙ్కాదివ సముత్సత్య ప్రియస్య పతితాం ప్రియామ్||29||
జలే నిపతితాగ్రైశ్చ పాదపైరుపశోభితామ్|
వార్యమాణామివ క్రుద్ధాం ప్రమదాం ప్రియ బన్ధుభిః||30||
పునరావృత్తతోయాం చ దదర్శ స మహాకపిః|
ప్రపన్నామివ కాన్తస్య కాన్తాం పునురుపస్థితామ్||31||

స|| కపిః తస్మాత్ నగాత్ నిపతితాం నదీం ప్రియస్య అంకాత్ పతిత సముత్పత్య ప్రియాం ఇవ దదర్శ|| జలే నిపతితాగ్రైః పాదపైః ఉపశోభితాం ప్రియబంధుభిః వార్యమాణాం కృద్ధం ప్రమాదాం ఇవ (నదీం దదర్శ)|ఆవృత్తతోయాం కాంతస్య ప్రసన్నాం పునః ఉపస్థితాం కాంతామివ సః మహాకపిః దదర్శ||

The Vanara saw a river flowing down from that mountain appearing like a beloved falling and rising from the arms of the lover. With waters swirling around the branches dipping into the river, the waters looked like a young woman wanting to leave but detained by her relatives. The waters running backward in circles appeared as if the pleased beloved has returned to her lover.

శ్లో|| తస్యాఽదూరాత్ సపద్మిన్యో నానాద్విజగణాయుతాః|
దదర్శ హరిశార్దూలో హనుమాన్ మారుతాత్మజః||32||
కృత్రిమాం దీర్ఘికాం చాపి పూర్ణాం శీతేన వారిణా|
మణిప్రవర సోపానాం ముక్తాసికతశోభితామ్||33||
వివిధైర్మృగసంఘైశ్చ విచిత్రాం చిత్రకాననామ్|
ప్రాసాదైః సుమహద్భిశ్చ నిర్మితైర్విశ్వకర్మణా||34||
కాననైః కృతిమైశ్చాపి పర్వత సమలంకృతామ్|

స|| హరిశార్దూలః మారుతాత్మజః సః హనుమాన్ తస్య అదూరాత్ నానాద్విజగణాయుతాః పద్మిన్యాః దదర్శ|| సీతేన వారిణా పూర్ణాం మణిప్రవరసోపానాం ముక్తాశికతశోభితాం వివిధైః మృగసంఘైశ్చ విచిత్రాం చిత్రకాననాం విశ్వకర్మణా నిర్మితైః సమహద్భిః ప్రాసాదైః కృత్రిమైః కాననైశ్చాపి సర్వతః సమలంకృతం దీర్ఘికాం చాపి దదర్శ||

Not far from there, the tiger among Vanaras saw a lotus pond filled with different kinds of water birds . Filled with cool water , having steps studded with gems , spread over with pearl dust as sand, with many kinds of herds of animals, with wonderful colorful trees, with large mansions , it looked like it was built by Vishwakarma with artificial woodlands decorated all over.

శ్లో|| యే కేచిత్ పాదపా స్తత్ర పుష్పోపగపలోపమాః||35||
సచ్చత్రాః సవితర్దీకాః సర్వే సౌవర్ణవేదికాః|

స||తత్ర పుష్పగఫలోఫగాః| యే కేచిత్ పాదపాః సర్వే సచ్ఛత్రాః సవితర్దికాః సౌవర్ణ వేదికాః ||

The trees were full of flowers and fruits. Some trees were full of leaves and branches spread over. Some had golden platforms.

శ్లో|| లతాప్రతానైర్బహుభిః పర్ణైశ్చ బహుభిర్వృతామ్||36||
కాఞ్చనీం శింశుపామేకామ్ దదర్శ హరియూధపః|
వృతాం హేమమయీభిస్తు వేదికాభిః సమంతతః||37||

స||హరియూథపః బహుభిః లతాప్రతానైః బహుభిః పర్ణైశ్చ సమంతతః వృతామ్ హేమమయీభిః వేదికాభిః వృతామ్ కాంచనీం ఏకాం శింశుపాం దదర్శ||

The best of Vanaras saw a Simsupa tree covered with many creepers and leaves surrounded by a golden platform.

శ్లో|| సోఽపశ్యత్ భూమిభాగాంశ్చ గర్తప్రస్రవణాని చ|
సువర్ణవృక్షాన్ అపరాన్ దదర్శ శిఖిసన్నిభాన్ ||38 ||
తేషాం ద్రుమాణాం ప్రభయా మేరో రివ దివాకరః|
అమన్యత తదా వీరః కాఞ్చనోఽస్మీతి వానరః||39||
తాం కాఞ్చనైస్తరుగణైః మారుతేన చ వీజితామ్|
కింకిణీశతనిర్ఘోషామ్ దృష్ట్వా విస్మయ మాగమత్||40||

స|| సః భూమిభాగాంశ్ఛ గర్తప్రస్రవణాని చ అపరాన్ శిఖిసన్నిభాన్ సువర్ణవృక్షాన్ అపశ్యత్ || తదా వీరః వానరః మేరోః ప్రభయా దివాకర ఇవ తేషాం ద్రుమాణాం ప్రభయా కాంచనః అస్మి ఇతి మన్యత|| ( సః హనుమాన్ ) కాంచనైః తరుగణైః మారుతేన వీజితామ్ క్రీడకాని శతనిర్ఘోషాం తాం దృష్ట్వా విస్మయం ఆగమత్||

He saw several pieces of land with streams flowing out of springs and other golden trees resembling fire. Then the heroic Vanara saw the radiance of the golden trees and felt like he was amidst the Meru mountain with its golden radiance. Then Hanuman was wonder struck seeing and hearing the tinkling sound of hundreds of anklets produced by the golden trees (swaying) in the wind.

శ్లో|| స పుష్పితాగ్రాం రుచిరాం తరుణాఙ్కుర పల్లవామ్|
తా మారుహ్య మహాబాహుః శింశుపాం పర్ణసంవృతామ్||41||
ఇతో ద్రక్ష్యామి వైదేహీం రామదర్శనలాలసామ్|
ఇతశ్చేతశ్చ దుఃఖార్తాం సంపతన్తీం యదృఛ్ఛయా||42||

స|| మహాబాహుః సః పుష్పితాగ్రాం రుచిరాం తరుణాంకురపల్లవామ్ పర్ణసంవృతాం తాం ఆరుహ్య ' రామదర్శనలాలసామ్ వైదేహీం ఇతః ద్రక్ష్యామి (ఇతి మన్యత) | దుఃఖార్తాం యదృచ్ఛయా ఇతశ్చ ఇతశ్చ సంపతన్తీం (తాం ద్రక్ష్యామి)|

The heroic Vanara with powerful arms climbed up the Simsupa tree, full of leaves with flowers blooming on the top, with tender sprouts and leaves (and said to himself). 'I will see Vaidehi who is anxious for seeing Rama, who is full of sorrow moving about here and there by chance'.

శ్లో|| అశోకవనికా చేయం దృఢం రమ్యా దురాత్మనః|
చమ్పకైః చన్ద నైశ్చాపి వకుళైశ్చ విభూషితా||43||

స|| దృఢం ఇయం అశోకవనికా రమ్యా చంపకైః చన్దనైశ్చ వకుళైశ్చాపి విభూషితా దురాత్మనః||

This Asoka grove with beautiful Champaka Chandana and Vakula trees surely belongs to the evil minded Ravana.

శ్లో|| ఇయం చ నళీనీ రమ్యా ద్విజసంఘనిషేవితా|
ఇమాం సా రామమహిషీ నూనమేష్యతి జానకీ||44||
సా రామా రామమహిషీ రాఘవస్య ప్రియా సతీ|
వనసంచార కుశలా నూనమేష్యతి జానకీ||45||
అథవా మృగశాబాక్షీ వనస్యాస్య విచక్షణా|
వనమేష్యతి సా‌ర్యేహ రామచి‍న్తానుకర్శితా||46||

స|| ద్విజసంఘనిషేవితా ఇయం నళీనీ చ రమ్యా | సా రామమహిషీ జానకీ నూనం ఇమామ్ ఏష్యతి|| సా రామా రామమహిషీ రాఘవస్య ప్రియా వనసంచార కుశలా జానకీ నూనం ఏష్యతి || అథవా మృగశాభాక్షీ అస్య వనస్య విచక్షణా రామచింతానుకర్శితా సా ఆర్యా ఇహ వనం ఏష్యతి ||

'Frequented by flocks of birds this Ashoka grove is beautiful. Janaki , the queen of Rama surely will visit this place. The beautiful queen of Rama , dear to Rama, who loves to wander in the forest will surely visit this place. The noble woman , the doe eyed lady familiar with this grove brooding over Rama will visit this place'.

శ్లో|| రామశోకాభి సంతప్తా సా దేవీ వామలోచనా|
వనవాసే రతా నిత్యమ్ ఏష్యతే వనచారిణీ||47||
వనే చరాణాం సతతం నూనం స్పృహయతే పురా|
రామస్య దయితా భార్యా జనకస్య సుతా సతీ||48||

స|| రామశోకాభిసంతప్తా వామలోచనానిత్యం వనవాసే రతా సా దేవీ వనచారిణీ ఏష్యతే|| రామస్య దయితా భార్యా జనకస్య సుతా సతీ పురా వనే చరాణాం స్పృహ్యతే నూనమ్||

The forest dweller who loves living in forest , consumed with grief for Rama, that lady ( Sita) will visit this place. The Rama's dear wife, Janaka's daughter earlier loved all the creatures wandering in the forest.

శ్లో|| సన్ధ్యాకాలమనాః శ్యామా ధ్రువ మేష్యతి జానకీ|
నదీం చేమాం శివజలాం సన్ధ్యార్థే వరవర్ణినీ||49||
తస్యాశ్చానురూపేయం అశోకవనికా శుభా|
శుభాయా పారివేన్ద్రస్య పత్నీ రామస్య సమ్మతా||50||
యదిజీవతి సా దేవీ తారాధిపనిభాననా|
ఆగమిష్యతి సాఽవశ్య మిమాం శివజలాం నదీమ్||51||

స|| శ్యామా వరవర్ణినీ జానకీ సంధ్యాకాలమనాః శుభజలామ్ ఇమాం నదీం సంధ్యార్థే ధృవం ఏష్యతి|| యా పార్థివేంద్రస్య రామస్య సమ్మతా శుభా పత్నీ తస్యాః శుభా ఇయం అశోకవనికా అనురూపమపి చ||తారాధిపనిభాననా సా దేవీ జీవతి యది సా అవశ్యమ్ ఇమామ్ శివ జలం నదీం ఆగమిష్యతి||

That lady of beautiful complexion interested in performing the rites of twilight with these auspicious waters of the river, will surely come here for performing the rites of twilight. This grove is suitable for the beloved of the Lord, Rama's wife, the auspicious lady Sita. The lady with the face of the Lord of all stars, if she is living will surely come to this stream of auspicious waters.

శ్లో|| ఏవం తు మత్వా హనుమాన్ మహాత్మా
ప్రతీక్షమాణో మనుజేన్ద్రస్య పత్నీమ్|
అవేక్షమాణాశ్చ దదర్శ సర్వమ్
సుపుష్పితే పర్ణఘనే నిలీనః||52||

స|| మహాత్మా హనుమాన్ ఏవం మత్వా మనుజేంద్రపత్నీం ప్రతీక్షమాణః సుపుష్పితే పర్ణఘనే నిలీనః అవేక్షమాణశ్చ సర్వం దదర్శ||

Thus thinking the venerable Hanuman concealed on the tree full of leaves looked around and waited eagerly for the wife of king of men.

ఇత్యార్షే శ్రీమద్రామాయణే ఆదికావ్యే వాల్మీకీయే
చతుర్వింశత్ సహస్రికాయాం సంహితాయామ్
శ్రీమత్సుందరకాండే చతుర్దశస్సర్గః||

Thus ends the fourteenth Sarga of Ramayana the first ever poem written by venerable poet Valmiki.
